Derya Acar Kaldırım is an audit and risk executive with more than 20 years of experience in audit, internal control and risk management. A graduate of Istanbul Technical University (Industrial Engineering) and Boğaziçi University (Management Information Systems), she began her career with PwC, serving in the firm's Istanbul, London and Milan offices, and became a Partner in Risk Consulting at EY Türkiye. Over the course of her advisory career, she has advised more than 100 global and local organizations, leading engagements that included large-scale transformation programs. She currently heads the Audit Division at Borusan Holding, where she is responsible for Internal Audit, IT audit, Internal Control and Audit Data Analytics. She is a CIA, CISA and ISO 22301 Lead Auditor, serves on the Board of the Enterprise Risk Management Association, and also lectures on Business Process Management at Özyeğin University.
