Nilüfer Sezgin completed her bachelor’s degree in 2003, followed by her master’s degree at the Department of Economics, Boğaziçi University, and has been actively working in the financial sector since 2005. She served as a teaching and research assistant during her academic years. She began her professional career in the financial sector in 2005 as an Economist, before taking on Chief Economist roles in reputable local and international investment houses between 2011 and 2015. In 2015, she joined İş Asset Management, where she worked as Chief Economist until 2020. In April 2020, Nilüfer Sezgin was appointed as Executive Vice President, leading the Marketing, Investment Advisory, Asset Management, and Corporate Communications Departments.
